Doris Ann Persinger, 75, beloved wife of Robert Lee Persinger, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at River's Bend Health Care in South Point, Ohio. She was born on October 5, 1940 in Ona, a daughter of the late Samuel and Nettie May Martin Ryder. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Lee Persinger; her daughter, Lisa Dawn Curtis and her grandson, Jacob Daniel Fletcher. She is survived by her son, Rick Persinger of Columbus, OH; two daughters, Carolyn (Ronald) Bevans of Milton and Stephanie Persinger of South Point, OH; three grandsons, Timothy (Trenda) Bevans, Michael Bevans and Chad Wallace and two great-grandsons, Devyn and Dayton Bevans. A Funeral Service to honor her life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Jerry Ryder, officiating. Burial will follow at Arthur Cemetery in Ona. Visitation will be held from Noon to 2:00 P.M. on Monday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
