Obituary
Phyllis B. Fetter, age 80, died Monday, January 2, 2017 in Shalimar, Florida. She was born November 16, 1936 in Logan, West Virginia, daughter of the late James Robert Baisden and Sadie Sutphin Baisden. She was an avid word puzzle fan and former employee of Perry Norvell and nanny in the Huntington community. Surviving are her children, Tammy Kelly and husband Colin of Richmond, VA, Benjamin D. Fetter of Mechanicsville, VA, Terri Fetter Quinones of Shalimar, FL; three grandchildren, Michael Kelly, David Fetter, and Elizabeth Kelly; sisters, Iva Young, Josephine Hightower, Elizabeth Moore, and Barbara Meade; Brothers, Jerry Baisden and David Baisden; three stepsons, James Monroe Fetter, III, Martin P. Fetter, and Christopher Fetter and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Monroe Fetter, Jr; sister, Goldie Hurlbut and brothers, Benjamin Baisden and Charles Baisden. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, WV by Pastor Don Reynolds. Burial will be in the Bias Chapel Cemetery. Friends may come from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Heck Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her loving caretakers at Emerald Coast Hospice, 340 Beal Pkwy NW, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32548.
