MARY ELLEN WORKMAN
(January 16, 1925 - June 13, 2009)

MARY ELLEN WORKMAN, 84 of Huntington, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. She was the widow of Carroll Workman. She was born January 16, 1925, Huntington, W.Va. the daughter of the late C. Myrtle Spurlock. She was a life long member of the Cross Roads United Methodist Church where she was very active. She is survived by two sons & daughter-in-laws, William Lee and Kitty Workman of Seminole, Fla., John and Sue Workman of Huntington, WV; seven grandchildren, William Lee Workman II, Sarah Ross, John Michael Workman, Darrell Workman, Steve, Annette, James Hatfield; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the Cross Roads United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Cartwright and Rev. Bill DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Huntington.  Friends may call from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, at the Henson Mortuary, Barboursville.
