DONALD RAY WILCOX
(May 23, 1932 - November 21, 2009)

DONALD RAY WILCOX, 77 of Barboursville, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1932, in Cabell County. He was the son of the late Leroy and Carrie Roach Wilcox. He was a Veteran of U.S. Marine Corp, during the Korean Conflict where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist church and was a retired Shift Foreman at Owens-Illinois Glass Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Phillip Shoemaker of Proctorville, OH, two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Ray and Lou Anne Wilcox of Cincinnati, Ohio, Donald and Mandi Wilcox of Louisa, KY.; one brother Robert Wilcox of Tazewell, TN, eight grandchildren, and nine great-Grandchildren and the love of his life Louise Chapman of Barboursville, WV. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday November 24, 2009, 11:00 A.M. at the Henson Mortuary, with Dr. Jerry Warren officiating, Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Barboursville, WV. Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Henson Mortuary. HENSON MORTUARY OF BARBOURSVILLE is assisting the family with arrangements.
