ROGER MARVIN SKAGGS
On August 6, 2010, Roger Marvin Skaggs 69, finished his course and stepped into the presents of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was welcomed into heaven by his parents Carl and Christine Skaggs and his first wife Nancy Skaggs. He is survived by second wife Linda Sue Snider Skaggs; one daughter, Tina J. Skaggs of Cleveland, TN. One son, John David and his wife Julia Skaggs of Huntington; three stepsons, Darrell Baker of Bowie, Md., Tom Baker of Kitts Hill, Ohio, Jeff Baker of South Point, OH; one step-daughter, Shirley Hiles of Barboursville; Twelve grandchildren; four of whom were his treasures in life, Jessica, Jenny, Jacob Skaggs and Emily Wiles; a special cousin Bobby Kennedy, and many loving nieces and nephews, four sisters, Ruthie Rivers of Arkansas, Roberta Thompson of FL, Rebecca Bowden of Barboursville, Rhonda Wagoner of Barboursville; three brothers, Robert and Rodney Skaggs of Barboursville, Ramon Skaggs of Huntington. Roger was preceded by a sister Rose Fudge, and a brother Ronald Skaggs. He was born July 30, 1941, a son of the late Carl and Christine Worley Skaggs. He was a retired truck driver, a veteran of U,S, Army, a member of Grace Gospel Church. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday August 10, 2010, at 11:00 a..m. at Henson Mortuary, with his brother-in-law, Rev. Fred Fudge, officiating, Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Garden Mausoleum. Friends may call on Monday, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville,
