HAROLD WAYNE BLANKENSHIP
Harold Wayne Blankenship, 62, of Milton, W.Va. passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville with Rev. Winford Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, W.Va. He was born July 30, 1948 in Princeton, W.Va. the son of the late Ralph Blankenship and Jewell Vaught Blankenship Wilson of Ona. He is survived by his loving wife, Charlene Grubbs Blankenship of Milton, W.Va.; one daughter, Denise Sharif of Columbus, OH; one son, Michael Blankenship of Midlothian, Va.; five brothers, Ted Blankenship of Huntington, W,Va; Vernon, Alvin, and Douglas Blankenship all of Gap Mills, W.Va. and Clarke Blankenship of Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren, Hunter, Mikayla, Mackenzie, McKenna and Hayden Blankenship; Special friends, Steve and Faith Johnson of Milton, W.Va. He was a retired maintenance Engineer at Special Metals, member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church and a was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran .
