WENDY DAWN GREENE
(January 13, 1972 - April 23, 2011)

Wendy Dawn Greene, 39, of Huntington WV and formerly of Quaker City, OH, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, April 23, 2011.

Wendy was born January 13, 1972, the daughter of the late Chris and Penny (Linton) Greene. She was raised by her grandparents, the late Jimmie and Georgia Linton. Wendy is also preceded in death by her aunt, Patsy Rose; and three uncles, Jim Pearson, Jack McClements, and John Rose.

Wendy is survived by an uncle, Scott (Beth) Linton; and two aunts, Charlotte Pearson and Lisa (Buddy) Stewart. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, John Greene and Donna Hodkinson; two aunts, April (Terry) Giesey and Margie (Dave) Luttrell; two uncles, Troy (Jane) Greene and Paul Greene; a very special friend, Brian Cole; and many cousins and dear friends.

A graduate of Shenandoah High School and Muskingum College with a CPA degree, Wendy pursued many careers and lived every day to the fullest. Wendy will always be remembered as a very special person with a great personality and a beautiful smile.

Please join the family and friends in a remembrance of her life. Family and friends may call on Friday April 29, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Lee officiating.

Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, OH.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to the Wendy Greene Benefit Account at any WesBanco Bank location.
