GLADYS VIRGINIA LEONARD
Gladys Virginia Leonard, 95 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born October 8, 1915 in Nelson County, Virginia the daughter of the late D.T. and Mary Johnson Mann. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. with Dr. Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. She was a retired secretary with Stokley Van Camp and a charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Barboursville, W.Va. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Leonard, granddaughter, Sharon Cooper Pack and one great-grandson. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and husband, Ralph “Skip: Simon of Huntington, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Robert Newlon and wife Charlotte of Ona, W.Va., Mary Newlon of Clarksville, TN, and Sheree and husband, Jim Overfelt of Huntington, W.Va.; eight great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
