JASPER JEAN KERLEY, JR.
(September 30, 1922 - May 9, 2011)



JASPER JEAN KERLEY, JR., 88, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away, Monday, May 9, 2011 at Hospice of the Valley’s Sherman Home  in Phoenix, AZ. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.  Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, Huntington, W.Va. with Rev. Sue Culbertson Jarrett officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va.  He was born September 30, 1922 in Berwind, WV, a son of the late Jasper and Mollie Seabolt Kerley.  He was retired and worked as an industrial engineer at Owens-Illinois in Huntington. He was a member of the Pea Ridge United Methodist Church.  He was preceded in death by the love of his life and his wife of 65 years, the late Mildred Tilley Kerley.   Survivors include one son, Richard A. Kerley of Cave Creek, AZ, and two grandsons, Thomas Heath Kerley and Brandon Kerley of Scottsdale, AZ. Those serving as pallbearers are , General Lee Smith, Bill Sharrett, David Morris, Mike Miller, Rick Hightower and Jim Mannon. Honorary pallbearers will be Heath Kerley and Brandon Kerley.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, AZ.  Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
