WINONA LOUISE "TOOTIE" METZ URIAN
(March 4, 1923 - May 24, 2011)

Winona Louise “Tootie” Metz Urian, 88 of Huntington, W.Va.,  passed away on  Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center, Huntington.  She was born March 4, 1923 in Huntington, W.Va. the daughter of the late, Henry and Louise Insco Metz. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Urian in 1980. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville with the Rev. Greg Creasy officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.  She was a homemaker.  Winona was one of eight siblings, five brothers, John, Howard, Robert, Guy and Walton Metz; two sisters, Juanita Beasley and Freda Gerber. She is survived by two sons, Randy Urian (Gloria) of Huntington, W.Va. and Tim Urian (Tracy) of Ona, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Wendy Scharf (John) of Shirley, NY, Molly and Wes Urian both of Ona, W.Va. two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Alexa Scharf.  Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville.
