ROBERT A. WILLIS
(July 16, 1937 - November 6, 2011)



Robert A. Willis, 74 of Milton, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington.  He was born July 16, 1937 in Huntington, WV the son of the late Arnold Oscar and Ruth Purdy Breitenstein Willis. He was a graduate of Huntington East High School, retired from AirGas after 35 years in the welding business. In 1964 he became a member of the North South Skirmish Association. In 1968 he joined the sixth Alabama (Raccoon Ruffs) shooting team. He is survived by his wife, Jan Bias Willis of Milton, WV; two daughters, Carrie and husband Brian Meyer of St. Louis, MO. and Kara Swanson of Huntington, WV; step-mother, Willie Willis of Huntington, WV; half sister, Lisa and husband, Steve Zatezalo of PA; In laws, Trena and husband, Gary Saunders of Flowery Branch, GA, Jane and husband, Tom Ferguson of Huntington, WV; a cousin, Jean Ann Harker of Huntington, WV; niece, Marissa Zatezalo of PA; nephews, Albert Wright of Gainsville, GA. and Clint Pemberton of Salt Rock, WV; grandson, Joseph Swanson II. of Huntington, WV; granddaughter, Baby Meyer. Special friends, Charlie Cornwell, Dick Mullins, Paul Walker, Tom Nixon and like a brother to him, Tom Napier. The family would like to thank Lois Norris his nurse and Ginger Nichols, his social worker for their exceptional care. Also the loving and caring staff at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington during his short stay.  Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV is caring for the family.
