RANDELL LEE HICKS
(March 12, 1947 - January 2, 2013)

Randell Lee Hicks, 65 of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home in the Guyandotte section of Huntington, WV surrounded by his family. He was born March 12, 1947 in Huntington, WV the son of the late, Winford Hicks and Eary Mattox. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter.  He was a retired maintenance worker and a  member of the Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna K. Barker Hicks; two daughters, Tina Swann and Tara Aliff and one son, Randell Dick all of Huntington, WV; five sisters, Juanita Thompson of OH, Rachel Sowards and Lora Lanham of Huntington, WV, Alice Hobbs of Lavalette, WV and Andrea “Sugar” of Huntington, WV; three brothers, Robert “Bob” Vernetter,  Gary Sowards and Winford Hicks all of Huntington, WV; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV with Pastor Ray Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until service time at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, WV.
