Obituary

LARRY ALDEN BROWN
(February 15, 1945 - November 14, 2013)

Larry Alden Brown, 68, of Huntington, WV passed away on November 14th, after a short illness, following his recently departed wife Sue into the hereafter.  A son of the late Henry and Autumn Brown, Larry grew up in the Charleston area with his siblings Robert Brown and Lois Brown Chandler, both of whom are previously deceased.  Larry is survived by his two sons Larry Brown, Jr. and Jeff Brown, and his two step-sons Thomas Garrett Lucas and Daniel Shawn Lucas (Elizabeth), and several grandchildren.  Larry spent the majority of his career with Ford Credit as a Dealer Sales Analyst and Assistant Branch manager.  An utterly devoted husband, Larry’s one passion was caring for his wife and supporting her in her mission to rescue animals.  The one hour visitation will begin at 1 pm, Sunday, November 17th, 2013 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, WV to be followed by a 2:30 PM graveside service at the Gill Cemetery, Salt Rock, WV with Rev. David Cardwell officiating.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Little Victories Animal Rescue at P.O. Box 247, Barboursville, WV  25504
