CHERYL LOU TAYLOR
(October 17, 1948 - November 28, 2013)

Cheryl Lou Creighton Taylor, Loving Mother, 65 of Barboursville, WV, passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2013 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born October 17, 1948 in Steubenville, OH. the daughter of the late, Edward F. Creighton.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Taylor; one brother, Gary Creighton; sister-in-law, Sally Jo Midkiff, mother and father-in-law, Shannon and Belva Taylor. She was a graduate of Barboursville High School and a homemaker. She is survived by her mother, Betty Jean Sampson Dague of LA; one daughter, Beth Keyser (Todd) of MD and one son, Michael Taylor (Michelle) of Scottown, OH; one sister, Marlene Nitz (David) of LA; three sisters-in-law, Martha Creighton of Richmond, VA, Irene Smith of Lesage, WV, Vivian Davis of Wayne, WV; one brother-in-law, Don Midkiff of Barboursville, WV; four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Emily, Madison and Sophia and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  The family wishes to express a sincere thanks to Cheryl’s neighbors who  were so loving and cared for her. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, WV. with Charlie Caserta officiating. Burial will follow in  White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV. The Taylor family will receive friends  from noon until service time at the funeral home on Monday.
