FREDDIE "FRED" DEAN HINKLE
(January 15, 1942 - May 24, 2015)

Freddie “Fred” Dean Hinkle, Sr. 73 of Culloden, W.Va. passed away, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at home. He was born January 15, 1942 in Culloden, W.Va. the son of the late, Leslie Clayton and Anna Keaton Hinkle.  Funeral services will conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. with Pastor Troy Nicely officiating. Burial will follow in the Maupin Cemetery, Ona, W.Va. He was a retired custodian from the Cabell County Board of Education and was Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Scarberry and Katherine “Sis” Harris and one brother, George Lester “Buck” Hinkle. He is survived by his loving wife of Fifty-two years Natellia “Cricket” Jean Black Hinkle of Culloden, W.Va; three sons, Freddie Dean Hinkle, Jr. (Debbie) of Barboursville, W.Va, Troy Henson Hinkle of Culloden, W.Va. and Stephen Dwayne Hinkle (Cindy) also of Culloden, W.Va; two sisters, Freda Jean McCarty, his twin sister, (George) of Hurricane, W.Va. and Mary Frances Christian (Paul, Sr.) of Culloden, W.Va; one brother, Darrell Eugene “Toot” Hinkle of Culloden, W.Va; grandchildren, Stephen “Dwayne” Hinkle II. (Jessica) and Katellia “Katie” Rose VanNatter (Danny); great-grandchildren, Sophia Mary, Brynn Victoria, Addalynn Paige and another baby girl on the way; a special niece and nephew, Denise Plants and Herbie Inscoe and a host nieces and nephews; his friends from work that he loved as family, Eddie Porter, John Adkins, Gary Harshbarger, Bonita Mills, Mr. Bowen and a host of others. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
