GERALD VERNON NELSON
(July 11, 1943 - May 17, 2015)

Gerald Vernon Nelson, 71 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Sunday, May 17, 2015 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. He was born July 11, 1943 in Huntington, W.Va. He formerly worked for the Cabell Wayne Association of the Blind and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is survived by one son, Frederick Leland Nelson, II. of Huntington, W.Va.  and one daughter, Robin Lea Brinegar of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Larry Nelson of Florida and Thomas Nelson of Michigan. There are no services scheduled, entombment will be at a later date. Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va.
