John David Parsley
(August 1, 1955 - April 21, 2016)

John David Parsley, 60 of Huntington, W.Va. passed away, Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va.  He was a self-employed musician, graduate of Chesapeake High School and member of the Glorious Church of God in Huntington. He was born August 1, 1955 in Huntington, W.Va the son of the late, Anna Marie (Poff) Parsley and William "Bill" Elwood Parsley of Chesapeake, OH. He is survived by William Richard “Rick” Parsley of Dayton, OH, Pamela “Pam” Sue Parsley of Circleville, OH, Lafe Charles “Chuck” Parsley of Austin, TX and Amy Parsley Newton of Chesapeake, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Original Glorious Church 1516 10^th Avenue in Huntington, W.Va with Pastor George Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery Ironton, Ohio.  The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday at the Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Henson & Kitchen Mortuary to assist the family with funeral expenses.
