Laurel Faye Wood Webb
(November 24, 1946 - April 21, 2016)

Laurel Faye Wood Webb, 69 of Chapin, SC., formerly of Barboursville, W.Va. died, Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Commander Nursing Center in Florence, SC. She was born November 24, 1946 the daughter of the late, Theodore “Ted” Roosevelt and Susan Pauline Griffith Wood.  She is survived by three children, Maria D. (Joel) Tharp of Leesburg, VA, Melissa “Missie” (Robert) Wessinger of Chapin, SC. and Michael A. Toppeta of Glendale, AZ; sister. Karen (Doug) Hickman of Huntington, W.Va; brother, James Wood of Cahokia, IL; six grandchildren, Christina and Brittany Tharp, Elizabeth, Robert and Victoria Wessinger and Genna Toppeta; six nieces and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Apostolic Life Cathedral in Huntington, W.Va. with Bishop E.S. Harper officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday at the church. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va.  Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, W.Va. is caring for the family.
