Ryuichi Sakamoto
(October 23, 1973 - August 3, 2016)

Ryuichi Sakamoto, 42 of Huntington, W.Va. formerly of Uto, Kumamoto, Japan, passed away, Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va.  He was born, October 23, 1973 in Uto, Kumamoto, Japan the son of Mitsukatsu and Kimiko Sakamoto.  He was a Mechanical Engineer and the President of Nippon Tungsten, U.S.A., Inc. in Barboursville, W.Va.  He is survived by his wife, Aya Terata Sakamoto of Huntington, W.Va; two sons, Rei and Seiya Sakamoto both of Huntington, W.Va; sister, Chie Ohsako of Uto, Kumamoto Japan and Michiyo Motoori of Nishinomiya, Hyougo, Japan. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary; Huntington, W.Va. with Rev. David R. Peters officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM on Friday at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va.
