ObituaryEveretta Perry Dean
Mrs. Everetta Perry Dean, 63 of Huntington, W.Va. went home to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Everetta won the war and is now at peace and rest. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. She was born May 8, 1953 in Hamlin, W.Va. the daughter of the late, William Everett and Sybel McComas Perry. She was married to David for 45 plus years. David and Everetta were married July 10, 1971 by David’s maternal grandfather, Rev. Roy Crawford. Everetta is and always shall be the only true love of his life. She was a homemaker and member of Crossroads Baptist Church. Everetta is survived by her husband, David Dean of Huntington, W.Va.; her children, Michael Dean of Huntington, W.Va, Melanie Pinkerman of Huntington, W.Va; a special granddaughter, Madeline Nicole Pinkerman; grandson, Aaron Dean; granddaughter, Morgan Dean; a loving uncle who was more like a brother to her, William (Ebbie) McComas of Wayne, W.Va. and also a very special aunt, Laura Perry Justice of Mich. Everetta love unconditionally and she truly loved her family. To know her is to love her. First Corinthians 15: 55-57 – O’ death, where is thy sting? O' grave where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be unto God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 30:5 - Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary; Huntington, W.Va. with Pastor John Duffy and Rev. Garland Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time at the mortuary.
