Larry Gene Freeman
(November 26, 1934 - July 20, 2016)

Larry Gene Freeman, 81 of Huntington, W.Va. went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired from Bell Atlantic Telephone Company. His healthy years  were spent doing things outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his boys and special friend, Greg Lipscomb on the family farm. His winters were spent with his wife in Venice, Florida and he leaves behind friends there as well. He loved time together with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his wife,  of 58 years, Sandra Davidson Freeman of Huntington, W.Va.; two sons, Rick Freeman of Huntington, W.Va. and Jim (Melody) Freeman of Barboursville, W.Va; grandchildren, Janessa (Justin) Lusk, Lydia Freeman, Alex and Nick Blevins; great-grandchildren, Elliotte and Campbell Lusk; brothers John (Kay) Freeman of Barboursville, W.Va. and Gary (Joan) Freeman of Milton, W.Va. and a sister, Carol Underwood of Huntington, W.Va. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry (Doloris) Freeman. The will be no visitation and a private family service.
