Lois Colleen Eldridge, 92 of Barboursville, W.Va. passed away, Sunday, November 26, 2017. She was born November 4, 1925 in Huntington, W.Va. the daughter of the late, Abran Garfield and Kizzie Ray Plybon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Eldridge and one son, Joseph Vernon Eldridge. She was a homemaker and member of Farmdale Church of Christ, Barboursville, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. near Barboursville with Tim Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, W.Va. She is survived by four children, Stanley Eldridge (Carrie) of Chesapeake, OH, Cathy Young (Mike) of Barboursville, W.Va, Vernon Eldridge, Jr. (Deena) of McConnelsville, OH. and Wilma Turner (Mike) of Huntington, W.Va; eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, W.Va. near Barboursville.
