Donald Lee Harris, 76 of Chesapeake, OH, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. He was born January 20, 1941 the son of the late, Ed Azel “Jr.” and Helen Marjorie (Kiff) Harris. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Huntington, WV near Barboursville with Pastors Ronnie Tyree and Don Irby officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Huntington, W.Va. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church and attended Chesapeake, Baptist Church. He is survived by one brother, Ronnie (Robin) Harris of Hurricane, W.Va. and one sister, Rebecca "Becky" (Warren "Butch") Smith of Huntington, W.Va. and several loving nieces and nephews that he admired. Special thanks to the Easter seals for their care and to a special caregiver, Lilas Black. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
