Dottie Lou Wilburn Thomas, loving wife, mother and grandmother, 72 of Ashland, KY. passed away, Monday, January 29, 2018. She was born March 13, 1945 in Grayson, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Clifford and Ann Fannin Wilburn. She was retired from the family business at CR Thomas Old Place Restaurants. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Chuck and Darrell Thomas and one brother, Billy Wilburn. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles W. Thomas, Jr. of Ashland, KY; children, Robert Thomas (Nikki) of Ironton, OH, Cheryl Thomas, Ashland, KY, Rhonda Thomas-Ferrell of Ironton, OH, Michael Thomas of Ashland, KY. and Elizabeth Lynn Thomas-Christian (Mark) of Largo FL; brothers, James Wilburn of Ashland, KY, Sonny Wilburn of Flatwoods, KY. and Larry Wilburn of Greenup, KY; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Christ Temple Church with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary Barboursville, W.Va.
