John Jeffery Fillinger, 51 of Huntington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born on September 20, 1966; the son of Mary Ann Christian and the late George Arthur Fillinger. He was a retired security guard and a member of Open Door Baptist Church. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by one grandfather, Raymond Smith; one grandmother, Mary Llyod; and one brother, George Scott Fillinger. In addition to his mother, John is survived by one son, Arthur Fillinger of Huntington, WV; one daughter, Alexzandrea Fillinger of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Karrie Lykins and Larisa Clark of Huntington, WV; one step brother, Greg Christian of Huntington, WV; and one step-sister, Gina Christian of Huntington; and a host of family and friends. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV, with Pastor Dustin Clark officiating.
