David Lee Armstrong, Jr., 59 of Cedar Bluff, Alabama formerly of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away, Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born October 22, 1958 in Huntington, West Virginia the son of David Lee Armstrong, Sr. and Shirley Jean Roy Armstrong of Chesapeake, OH. David had a passion for fishing which untimely became his livelihood, where he was a professional bass fishing guide in Alabama. He loved his family and enjoyed taking them out of the boat and watching them fish. He is survived by his wife, Vendetta Louise Ramey Armstrong of Cedar Bluff, Alabama and one daughter Amanda Nicole (Timothy) Armstrong Barnes also of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; brothers and sister, Michael (Candie) Armstrong of Barboursville, WV, Jeffrey (Faye) Armstrong of Chesapeake, OH, Angela (Mark) Caserta of Huntington, WV and Kevin (Brenda) Armstrong of Barboursville, WV; one grandson, Conner Barnes and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services honoring David's life will be conducted at 6:00 PM at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Road, Barboursville, WV with Pastor Chuck Lawrence officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 Pm at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
