Charline Gay Meadows Labus, 83 of Sanford, NC, formerly of Barboursville, WV, passed away, Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born May 9, 1934 in Barboursville, WV the daughter of the late Lewis Howard and Dessie Ann Weatherholt Meadows. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Peter Labus. She is survived by her three sons, Eric (Myra) Labus and Lester (Benita) Labus all of WV and Eddy (Johnda) Labus of NC; five daughters, Mary Labus of KY, Bonnie (Mike) Perry of NC, Priscilla (John) Wright of TN, Alice (Geoff) Richardson of WV and Clara (Anthony) Chapman of KY; two brothers, John C. Meadows of WV and Omer L. Meadows of NM; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, Barboursville, WV with minister Louis Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until service time on Monday at the Mortuary.
