Jackie Edward Black, 72 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Thursday, August 20, 2020 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born February 5, 1948 the son of the late, Terman Lefrage and Emma Wray Black.  He was a graduate of Huntington East High School, retired clerk from Dolly Madison in Huntington, WV and was a member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church where he served as pianist. He also served as pianist at Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist and Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Letha "Peggy" Holstein and two brothers, Martin Everett Black and and Danny Joe Black. He is survived by one sister, Donna Kay (Donnie) Adkins of Huntington, WV; one brother, Eddie A. (Charlotte) Black of Huntington, WV and Terman L. "Lefty" Black II. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary 6357 East Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV with Pastor Ray Williams and Herbert Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Bias Chapel Cemetery, Milton, WV. Friends may call from 1:00 PM on Sunday until service time at the mortuary.
