Clifford Curtis Curry, Jr. 86 of Chesapeake, VA, passed away, Friday, August 27, 2021 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. He was born October 18, 1934 the son of the late, Clifford Curtis Curry Sr. and Osa Lenore Conley, Curry. He was a retired Command Master Chief U.S. Navy Veteran. Clifford also was a retired Maintenance Supervisor from Marshall University. He was a member of Kempsville Christian Church in Virginia Beach, VA and a former longtime member of Farmdale Church of Christ, Barboursville, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Bernice Curry; and a brother, Guy Edwin Curry. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Mammo Curry of Chesapeake, VA; two children, Joseph Michael Curry (Diana) of South Charleston, WV, Yolanda Curry Wentworth (Clayton) of Chesapeake, VA; step-children, Mark Colburn (Maryann), Adrian Colburn (Mike Fournier) and Lara Colburn Russell (Watt); one sister Anna Jewell Curry Farley (Tom) of Florence, KY; brothers, Benjamin Curry (Virgie) of Banner, KY, David Curry (Martha) of Florence, KY, Charles Henry Curry (Gerry) of Barboursville, WV; twenty-two grandchildren, and thirty great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near Barboursville with Minister Danny Evans officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV with military honors provided by the U.S. Navy and the American Legion Post 139 Milton, WV. The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary.
