John David “Odell” Walker, 51 of Huntington, WV passed away, Saturday, August 7, 2021. He was born December 8, 1969 in Lincoln County, WV the son of the late, Clovis Walker, Jr. and Mildred Pauline Gibson Walker. He previously worked for Home Care Medical. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Lanham and two brothers, Danny Ray Walker and Jeffrey Walker. He is survived by a son, John Aliff of Huntington, WV; sisters, Mary Cremeans of Huntington, WV and Tina Edmonds (Nathan) of Ona, WV; brothers, Tony Walker (Autumn) of Huntington, WV, Ted Walker of Newport, TN and Casey Walker of Dayton, OH; a special friend, Beth Perry of Huntington, WV. There will be a celebration of life service conducted at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, WV, near Barboursville, with Pastor Kim Stone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Thursday, at the mortuary. There will be a memorial gathering following the service on Thursday, at the Barboursville Park, for those who would like to attend. For those unable to attend, the service will be streamed on Henson & Kitchen Mortuary's Facebook page, YouTube Channel and website.
