Joyce Ann Hicks

Joyce Ann Hicks, 59 of Huntington, WV, passed away, Friday, February 25, 2022 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born January 06, 1963 in Point Pleasant, WV the daughter of the late, James and Dorothy Davis Barker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of seventeen years, Winford "Wink" Hicks; one sister, Donna White and two brothers, David Barker and Tony Barker. She was a homemaker and member of Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Timothy Ward and two daughters, Rebekah Ward and Christina Ward all of Huntington, WV; two sisters, Patty Kinder (Sam) of Milton, WV and Sharon Plumley (Eugene) of Ashton, WV; one brother, Ronnie Barker (Nannette) of Lesage, WV; two granddaughters, Andrea and Choe Ward and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 3, 2022 Henson & Kitchen Mortuary, 6357 E. Pea Ridge Road Huntington, WV; near Barboursville with Pastor Tony Mays officiating. Burial will follow in the Pete Meadows Cemetery, Ashton, WV. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services.
