Geraldine "Gerry" Crum
December 28, 1926 - November 6, 2010

Geraldine “Gerry” Crum, 83, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 6, 2010 in St. Mary’s Hospital. Gerry was born December 28, 1926 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Scott and Viola Pratt Vanhoose. She was also preceded by her husband, Al Crum and two brothers, James and Jack Vanhoose. She retired as a supervisor for C & P Telephone Company after 37 years of service and worked at Wal-Mart on Rt. 60 and was a member of Highlawn Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Smith; a granddaughter, Angela Smith Haller; three great grandchildren Zachariah, Rachel and Christian Haller all of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by the Rev. Jim Franklin. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
