Marilyn Holleron
(October 5, 1932 - October 2, 2011)



Marilyn Marie Woodman Holleron (Maemae), of Huntington, WV, born October 5, 1932 died October 2, 2011. She is preceded in death by husband, Thomas K. Holleron and grandson, Jonah Elam. She is survived by sister, Shirley (Ned) Dewire, daughters, Jeanne (John) Elam, Lorri (Greg) Stepp and grandsons, John Thomas (Rachael) Elam, Joshua (Chelsey) Elam, Aaron Stepp, Nathan (Alexa) Stepp. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Home Economics, she was a home maker; employed as a home economics teacher and with River Valley Child Development Services. She gave through helping others, volunteering and was involved with Pilot, Garden Club, PEO, Contact, choir, Emmaus, Faith In Action, Homemakers, hospital auxiliary, Literacy Council, UMW, UMS Advisory Committee, and was an active member of Johnson Memorial UMC. Marilyn lived her life in Joy with family as her theme. Visitation will be held at Johnson Memorial UMC Friday, October 7 from 10:30-12:30 with A Celebration of Life to follow at 1:00. Interment will be at Woodmere Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, Marilyn Holleron Memorial Fund, Huntington, W.V.
