Bette Snyder Chandler

Bette Snyder Chandler, 88, of Huntington, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at The Wyngate. She was born June 29, 1925 in Huntington, a daughter of the late John and Ethel Brumfield Snyder. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roland Chandler and a sister and brother-in-law, Reba and Carlyle Berry. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Hood (Jeffrey); two grandchildren, Whitney Gesner (Tom) and Morgan Hood (Ellie) and four great grandchildren, Kendall and Grant Gesner, Jeffrey and Matthew Hood all of Huntington. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2014 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by Dr. Allen Reasons. Entombment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
