Richard Clark Castle
(March 15, 1937 - August 11, 2017)

Friday evening, August 11, 2017, my friend of 37 years, died at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Richard C. Castle was born in Huntington, WV, March 15, 1937, at the C & O Hospital. He loved the railroad. When I first met him, he was tall, blond and handsome. Richard was quiet, reserved, private and a loner, even as a young child, he told me. He was a golfer, worked on local golf courses and eventually taught golfing. He was definitely a free spirit, took care of himself, left school early, travelled and always found work! A memorial service will be held at 3PM, Friday, August 18, 2017 at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Rest in peace, Richard. I love you. Helga Thorn.
