Kenneth Lawson Dudding
(September 15, 1946 - August 11, 2017)



Kenneth Lawson Dudding, 70, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away on August 11, 2017. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm, Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Funeral service will be at 1pm, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Klingel Carpenter Mortuary, with burial following at Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Pastor Chadd Hatfield and Rev. Lowell Dudding will officiate the services. Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Rupert Excell Dudding and his mother Bessie Winifer Dudding Bradshaw and his son Kenneth Lawson Dudding Jr. He is survived by his loving wife Tammy Dudding and his three canine companions Bo, Homer and Sophie. Kenneth is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Lowell and Lucy Dudding of Brandon, Florida; sisters June Fleming of Williamsburg, Virginia, Sue Nell Ames of Lakeland, Florida and Evelyn Dudding of Arizona. Pallbearers will be Kevin Lovejoy, “Bub” Lovejoy, Fred Alexander, Dale Kelley, Mark Carlisle, and Jimmy Bolton. Kenneth served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Kenneth was a retired police officer having served on the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Force and Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department in Punta Gorda, Florida. Kenneth was an avid musician most noted for his skills as a drummer. He played in many different bands, most notably the Rock-N-Aces.
