Stephanie Renee Garnett
(July 15, 1986 - January 9, 2017)

Stephanie Renee Garnett, 30, of Huntington left this life on January 9, 2017. Stephanie was born on July 15, 1986 in Morgantown, West Virginia. She is a 2005 graduate of Huntington High School. She attended Everest Institute and received a certificate as a medical assistant and subsequently received a CNA. She was employed as a home health worker. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her parents Richard and Barbara Garnett of Huntington, and a brother, Zakare Garnett of Huntington, as well as biological siblings James, Daniel, Velve, and Sophie. She reluctantly bids farewell to her children Isaiah, Addison, Kylee, Tylor, and Jaylyn. In addition, she will be profoundly missed by her fiancé Timothy Watts of Huntington, for whom she had a special place in her heart. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Harlan and Sue Fretheim of Loveland, CO and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Stephanie was loved and respected by many in the recovery community of Huntington, for whom she was a loving and trusted friend and confidant. She radiated enthusiasm and optimism and was a wonderful role model for others. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm, Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 721 12th Ave. in Huntington on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10 am.
