ObituaryDoris Irene McClanahan Doris Irene McClanahan Perdue, 70, of South Point, Ohio, mother, mother in law, grandmaw and sister, passed away Thursday September 9, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Bryan Malott. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born October 24, 1939 in Cabell County, WV a daughter of the late Adolph and Agnes Sias McClanahan. She was retired from American National Rubber Company and was an employee of Camden Park at the Pizza Shop. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Perdue, Sr., a daughter Charlene Kay Sawyers; sister Marguerite McClanahan and a brother William McClanahan. Survivors include two sons Charles E. Perdue, Jr and his wife B.J. Perdue of South Point, Ohio and Charles G. Chuck Perdue of Huntington; four grandchildren Ashley Perdue, Ray Jones, April Lynn Perdue and Joseph Adkins and great grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers in law Freddie Marie and Danny Coriell, Rosita and Kenny Harless, Earline and Harrison Gibson and Angel Sue Blankenship and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Home.
