Richard Thomas Hilton
(December 17, 1922 - July 2, 2011)

RICHARD THOMAS HILTON, 88, of Huntington, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Richard was born on Dec. 17, 1922, in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of the late Walter and Kathryn Hilton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Irene Hilton. Richard was a retired insurance salesman and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II, and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his one son, Richard T. Hilton Jr.; three daughters, Linda Basset, Nancy Denman and Mary Pat Harrington; and a very dear son-in-law, David Harrington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Phil Hilton. A very special thank you to Hospice and staff for their care and love. Private services will be held at a later date. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
