Mary Jane Mitchell
(April 1, 1932 - July 29, 2011)

Mary Jane Mitchell, 79, of Kenova, WV, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.  The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church by Monsignor Lawrence Luciana. The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.  Jane was born on April 1, 1932 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Clarence Bruce and Alice Frances Landers Malcolm. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Mitchell and one brother William Malcolm.  Jane was a retired secretary from Cabell Huntington Hospital, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a graduate of Huntington East High School.  She is survived by her son: Bruce Mitchell, daughter and son in law: Theresa and Dwight Hensley, two granddaughters; Emma and Sara Hensley, a brother: Charles "Benny" Bennett Malcolm and a sister: Meredith "Tudie" Wallace.  Friends may call from 6-8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
