Ananell Adkins
(September 27, 1922 - May 1, 2011)

Ananell Adkins, 88, of Prichard, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be conducted at Docks Creek Cemetery Maple Hill Section on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00 am by Pastor Scott Byard and Brother Emmett Adkins. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

She was a homemaker and a member of Buffalo Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Ananell was born on September 27, 1922 in Kenova, WV the daughter if the late Charlie and Sophia Hutchinson Ferguson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Otha Adkins, a grandson Ronald Ray Workman and a great granddaughter: Maggie Rose Wellman.

Two brothers; Maxie and Hershel Ferguson and four sisters: Goldie Pelphrey, Dixie Ward and Sara and Shirley Ferguson.

She is survived by her three sons and daughters in law: Emmett and Jenna Adkins of Ringgold, GA., Charles and Sue Adkins of Prichard, WV and Ray and Gina Adkins of Lebanon, TN. And one daughter and son in law: Patricia and Howard Workman of Kenova, WV.

Nine grandchildren; Diane Perrel, Donna Cox, David Adkins, Tim Adkins, Christi Baisden, Ronda Wellman, Randy Wellman, Renee Wellman and Angela Walker.

Twenty three great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Reger Funeral Home.
