Clara Copley Davis
(December 14, 1957 - May 22, 2011)

CLARA COPLEY DAVIS, 53, of Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, W.Va., passed away at home, Sunday, May 22, 2011, after an extended battle with cancer. Clara was born December 14, 1957, in Fort Lee Prince George, Va. She was the only child of the late Billy Ray Copley and Mary Marie Wilson. She was a 1976 graduate of Huntington High School and attended Marshall University, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She was also a former national sales manager with Anthony-Thomas Chocolates. Clara is survived by her husband Dave Davis of Delaware, Ohio; one son and his wife Donnie and Amanda Davis and two very special grandchildren, Sierra Davis and Riley Jenkins, all of Huntington; a special uncle and aunt, Clyde and Lila Copley, also of Huntington; special friends Barbara Jean Johnson of Moyock, N.C., and Pam Willison of Louisville, Ky.; step-mother Kathy Copley of Huntington; two sisters, Katelyn Copley of Huntington, Rynnie Cotter of Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Jerry Chapman. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Reger Funeral Home.
