Dallas Wilson
(January 28, 1935 - March 2, 2012)


Dallas Wilson, 77, of Huntington, passed away Friday March 2, 2012 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Willie May. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born January 28, 1935 in Genoa, WV a son of Ota Robertson Wilson of Huntington and the late Raymond Wilson. Dallas was retired from the US Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 93 of Kenova, where he was a former commander of the Honor Guard for many years and a life member of VFW Post 1064 of Huntington. In 1996 he retired from the Huntington VA Medical Center in the housekeeping department. In addition to his mother Dallas is survived by his wife of 40 years Jeanette Gregg Wilson; a son and daughter in law Larry and Roxann Wilson of GA.; daughter and son in law Pamela and Greg Ledbetter of GA.; and his other children, two sons and daughters in law George and Robin Siddle of Huntington and Mark and Nanci Siddle of Ala., daughter Teri Layne of Tenn.; fourteen grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters in law Bill and Betty Wilson of NC and Bobby Joe and Jenanne Wilson of Huntington; two sisters and brothers in law Deloris and Junior O’Brien of Ft. Gay and Bonnie and Daniel Copley of Grayson and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Home. The American Legion Post 93 of Kenova will be serve as Honor Guard’s during the visitation Monday night and will also conduct graveside military rites.
