Larry Joe Pickle
(February 3, 1939 - November 11, 2012)



LARRY JOE PICKLE, 73, of Huntington, W.Va., born on February 3, 1939, in Auxier, Ky., went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Larry Joe was retired from Weiler Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father William Pickle, mother Sola Mae Blevins and stepfather William Blevins. Larry Joe is survived by his loving devoted soul mate and wife of 42 years, Mary Brumfield Pickle; his children Kim (David), Kathy, Karen (Dave), Kenny, Kevin, Trina (David) and Tonia, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and a very special brother-in-law Jennings Brumfield. Also surviving are very special friends Harry and Joan (Kitty, and son BJ Chappelle, Elsie Perky and two very special friends in Christ, Pastor Terry Wagner and Dennis McCoy. Special thanks to VA doctors Dr. Khitan, Dr. Kumar and Dr. John Walker, girls in the lab at the VA Medical Center, nurses in Intensive Care at St. Mary's Medical Center and a special nurse and friend David (from 3rd floor). Joe loved to laugh and enjoy life. He also enjoyed playing softball with his buddies in a 55-and-older league in Chesapeake, Ohio. He loved his family to the fullest. There will be no service or visitation.
