Angelia Shawn Stanley
(February 11, 1962 - October 1, 2012)



Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece and “Angel”, Angelia Shawn Stanley, 50, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. B.C. Egnor. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point, Ohio. She was born February 11, 1962 in Huntington, to Betsy Juliette Ross Stanley of South Point, OH and the late Arnold Gale Stanley. Angelia was raised in New York City and South Point, Ohio. She was a wonderful bass player along with her sister Amy who was a guitar player. Angelia was very faithful and helpful with her nieces and nephews whom she loved so much. In addition to her mother Angelia is survived by her sister Amy H. Stanley of South Point; three brothers and two sisters in law Arnold Roland Stanley and Mitch and Kathy Stanley all of South Point and Ronald H. and Paulette Stanley of Huntington; nieces Athena Stanley and Veronica Stanley; nephews Brandon Stanley and Devin Stanley; grandmother Helen Stanley of Huntington; aunts and uncles Romonia and Billy Joe Thompson of Huntington, Brenda and Walter Plumley of Chesapeake, Ohio, Loretta Ross of Mich. and Mary Jo Stanley of Ashton, WV and three friends Mark, Henry and Cindy. Angelia will be missed very much by her family and friends but she will not be forgotten. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Reger Funeral Home.
