Fred Peyton Johnson
(August 18, 1927 - July 18, 2014)

Fred Peyton Johnson, 86, of Huntington, widower of June Johnson, passed away Friday July 18, 2014 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm Thursday at the Meeks Cemetery, Louisa, KY, by Pastor Jesse Simmons. Burial will follow. He was born August 18, 1927 in Northfork, WV, a son of the late Eugene Charles and Elizabeth Johnson. Fred was retired from ACF Industries. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers Eugene C. Johnson, Bobby D. Johnson and Gary Lee Johnson. Survivors include a sister in law Betty Jo Johnson; niece Sharon and nephew Eugene M. Johnson. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery.
