Obituary
Clyde Thomas “Tom” Turner,
79, of Ceredo, W. Va., passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at his
residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday at the
Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Rodney Hale. Burial will be in May and Turner
Cemetery on German Ridge, Wayne County, W. Va. He was born November 5, 1934
in Wayne County, W. Va. A son of the late Raymond and Margaret Eisnaugh
Turner. He was a retired contractor. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Ceredo and the BPOE Elks Lodge #313 of Huntington. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Donald Lee Turner and
Alvin Glen Turner. Survivors include his wife of 32 years Reba Turner, two
sons Tommy Ray Turner of Huntington and Gary Turner of Texas, a daughter and
son-in-law Kathy and Bill Gossett of Texas, two step-daughters Rhonda Hypes
of Florida and Teresa of Iowa; 18 grandchildren; three brothers and
sisters-in-law James and Mary Turner of Huntington, Gary and Gail Turner of
Mansfield, Ohio and Malvin and Renate Turner of South Point, Ohio, a sister
and brother-in-law Laura Fay and Ray Stewart of Huntington and an abundance
of nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon till service time Saturday
at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, W. Va.
