Garnett Hatten, 94, of Kenova, WV, passed away Saturday March 11, 2017 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at Cyrus Cemetery, Wayne County, WV, by Brother Terry Meredith. Burial will follow. She was born May 10, 1922 in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Cullie and Josephine Carver Meredith. She was a caregiver. Survivors include her daughter and son in law Nellie and Ed Gilkerson and son and daughter in law Cullie and Jonnie D. Hatten; sister Mona Vipperman and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or procession to the cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington and Dr. Pinson and her staff. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
