Obituary



Adeline McNeely, 81, of Barboursville, WV went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep Thursday, November 9, 2017 at her residences Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Pastor Roger Mooney. Burial will follow at Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. She was born March 7, 1936 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the Late Earl Fraley and Mary Elizabeth Runyon Fiore. She was a former employee of Corbin Limited. She was a member of Kellogg Independent Holiness Church of God, a retired Homemaker and full time grandmother and a devoted Christian. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; John McNeely Sr., two sons; John McNeely Jr., and Tracy Ray McNeely, a grandson : Jason Layne, two brothers: Earl Fraley and Frank Fiore and a sister: Shirley Mitchell. Survivors include children: Barbara Bailey with whom she made her home, Cheryl Layne, Guy McNeely and Bruce McNeely (Marsha) all of Huntington, WV. Eleven grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren. Three brothers: Dennis Fraley (Beth), Brandon Fraley (Gail), John Fiore, a sister: Connie Basen (Ron) all of Cleveland Ohio. Two sisters in law: Emmer Faye Harrison of Pontiac, MI and Pauley Fraley of Hendersonville, KY. Several nieces and nephews and a special friend who meant so much to her: Mike Smith from Kellogg Church. The family would also like to thank the staff of Hospice of Huntington and Amedisys Home Health Services for the care and comfort shown to Adeline as well as a special thanks to the CCCSO. And a special thank you to Dr. Linda Savory and nurse Tisha. Friends may call from 1-2 pm Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home.
