Obituary

Becca Wiebe
(June 3, 1945 - October 24, 2018)

Surrounded by her family, Becca Wiebe won her battle with brain cancer and went home to be with her Savior on October 24, 2018. Born in Canton, OH, to Donald and Evelyn Rohrer, she was the eldest of six children and made many wonderful memories with them. At the age of twelve, she trusted Christ as her Savior and began the eternal life she is enjoying today. After graduating from Bob Jones University with an education degree, she married Keith Wiebe and began her teaching career, a profession which she felt called to and loved dearly for the rest of her life. She loved pouring herself into her ministry of hospitality as a pastor’s wife.  Becca had a passion for people and could make every individual feel special and valued, whether in the classroom, church, or community. She was known for her bright smile, sense of humor, compassion for others, and zeal to spread God’s message of hope. Her children treasured her constant love, invaluable friendship, and wise counsel.  She will be missed and remembered by her loving husband of 51 years Keith Wiebe, Sr.; children Keith (and Kim) Wiebe, Jr., Maureen (and Rob) Van Den Berg, Elizabeth Wiebe, and Susan (and Dan) Rundle; and grandchildren David and Danelle Wiebe, Katie and Olivia Van Den Berg, Claire, Eliza, Ian, and Harrison Rundle. She is survived also by her dear brothers and sisters, Don (and Cherie) Rohrer, Dan (and Jan) Rohrer, Paul (and Debra) Rohrer, Debbie (and Chuck) Shuster, and Maureen (and Dan) Sabaka, as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.  The family will greet friends at Grace Gospel Church from 3-6pm Sunday, October 28, and a celebration of life service will be held Monday, October 29 at 2pm, also at Grace Gospel Church. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
